Just Bought an H22 (12/30 Swap Completed!)

Went over to HMotors Online todays and met with Steve to pick out my engine. Its going to get cleaned and checked over and I'll pick it up on Tuesday. It came with a stainless header with really loose heatwrapping (which is being removed) that can hopefully be polished up. The brand on the header is "LIMIT AX", which I have never heard of.

Only a cell phone picture for now.

Do they forsee the supply of H22s dropping anytime soon?

Oh, Tanabe makes that header. Do they have the downpipe for it?

They had probably two dozen regular JDM H22's, and a few Type-S H22's sitting around. Thanks for the info on the header. Yeah, it comes with the b-pipe.

Cost was $1050 plus sales tax. More if you have to ship it. The engines all have between 30k-45k miles on them.

Some new pics. Engine cleaned up and ready to install. Just need to give the header a good polishing.

^not much needed since almost all these motors that come from japan have less than 40k miles on them.

Updates: H23 is out. And H22 is waiting to go in. Just waiting on a new clutch and various other pieces.

Here's some pics.
