Is the JUN LIGHT flywheel good?!!

Hey 4th gen'ers,

Looking to get a new Flywheel and clutch combo, but have heard mixed reactions on the ones out there... is the JUN lightflywheel good? How abot the clutch>? I heard the JUN has some alignment problems with the flywheel teeth and the arm that rolls the flywheel. Anyone have a good combo they'd like to share? One that improves performance/acceleration w/o grinding at all!!

I am having an ACT Xtreme with an organic plate and stock flywheel, then again my Prelude is running close to 400HP, but from what I gather, the lighter flywheel means you have to shift harder do to the loss in interia, so as a daily driver I assume slam shifting would get tiresome.

I have the lightened JUN flywheel with the act clutch. Works fine for me. And currently I'm naturally aspirated. It would be good for cars with turbo since it would help get ur rpms up faster to hit boost. I have no problem driving the car dialy driven, still pulls, yes, the rpms drop faster, but not that much... and no u don't have to **** harder.

I saw that too...my friend with an N/A 91 MR2 has a lightweight Fidanza and the RPMs barely drop more than they did before. He shifts normally. However, he does have some problems with the teeth lining up with the starter.

well at least his ****s normally

the starter problem is easily fixed if someone who knows what they were doing installed it. the starter pinion simply has to be filed down a bit and it works like cake!

I'm not gonna bag on you for the whole "****" thing, but this is good news. The first guys in the post were scaring me. I just ordered a JUN flywheel, and already have an RPS Stage 3 at home. You put my mind at ease.
