i believe there is a problem with fitting it between the engine and firewall. One luder, named Caz, has successfully done it himself though.

try the search feature... i'm almost positive this has been covered many times. There are a few people that have gotten it to work. the blower hits the fire wall from what i know and you will need custom brackets to make this work. The blower physically fits on the 4th gen head, but space clearance is mainly the entire issue.

Caz might still sell the parts, but he told me it wasn't worth it to do on a 4th gen just because of all the problems he had with his engine.

the firewall is not hte clearance problem.

the clearance problem comes from the drivers side shock tower, hitting a ding into the shock tower so that the pulley and belt dont hit it will solve the problem and allow you to run a 5th gen jrsc on a 4th gen...that is...if you WANT to ding your car

at least two people have done it, caz and another gent whose name i can't remember. I do remember him talking about it though, because he'd mentioned having to downsize his brake master cylinder reservoir. Yeah, like lude vtec said, I also asked Caz about it, but he said it was a waste of time/money.
