JDM vs USDM

What are the differences between the USDM and JDM H22 ECU?

Like, What is the redline on both?

And, Does the VTEC kick in at same time? 5200 rpm right?

5500rpms, fuel cutoff is still 7200 and the JDM has a speed limiter too. and other thant being optimised for the USDM H22 or the JDM H22 yea they are the same ecu.

The JDM ecu is set up for the motor to run on something like 118 octane.

Holy wrong information batman!!!!

VTEC x-over is approx 5100rpms on a stock motor.
Rev limit is 7700 Redline is 7400- USDM
Rev limit is 7800 Redline is 74-7500- JDM(correct me if im wrong)

118 Octane? For that Super high 10.6:1?
us is tuned for 91 and up. [my preference is the readily available 93]

JDM ECU- Gh3y governor @ 112-114mph
USDM- No governor and maybe a slight but not noticable difference in tuning.

With that...someone trade me a stock JDM ECU for a USDM.

cuz we're cool and dont need a computer telling us how fast we should be going

heh, jk. they got a regulation over there that limits the cars to ~112 mph or so. i guess they dont want any crazy people doing 130 on their freeways
