JDM transmission in USDM Prelude

I need to replace my transmission as rebuilding it is looking at 1100+. I found a used (44,000miles) JDM transmission for 600.00.

The code on it is M2A4 (JDM w/out LSD), will this be a direct bolt up with my USDM H22 and will the stock axles still work?

drooool, sorry, there is no way it will bolt up, you have to replace your ummm, Flux Capaciter first, send it to me and ill give it a good home.

haha just kidding man, it should be a direct bolt on.

Its more popular because its more accessible...its hard to find a USDM tranny that is in good shape or low miles.

lol...just really read your post SUbEX -0Flux capacitor.

Thanks for the assistnace & replies. I decided to step it up and go with the LSD too. Paying 1G flat for it.

Got it from Hmotors 818-768-3067. I hear that they are pretty reputable. I'll post up if I find anything different.

JDM Mike> YOU BASTARD!!! How'd you get one for so cheap? Hook a brother up.

4thGenReady2Go> from what I understand 1K is maybe 100.00 or so above the avg for a M2B4. I was going to pay 600.00 for the M2A4 (w/out lsd) so I figured for 400.00 more it was a good deal. Figure 100.00 more than getting a Phantom Grip & no issues with it poss being junk.

Kid that lives a few houses down. His parents bough him a jdm h22a (car had a h22a1 in it). He came down and asked if I'd help him out with the swap this weekend, I agreed to asist and in return I got his tranny at a great price. No complaints here, came with mint condition axles (which I was in need of, lol).

you don't like your dc header? I have no idea what else to buy if not DC, when I was younger, and had a virtually unmodifiable 2nd gen, all I read about headers were rave reviews about DC's.

lol, well, not quite 900, but I gotta buy my winter tires soon, these bald avid h4s won't last too many more fall rains before this wretched snow comes. I'll check out the fujitsubo header, you know by chance where I can find one? If it's anywhere in the 700-800s, I'd just buy a Mugen header, but that's of course if I swap a 22 in, otherwise so much for mugen!
