JDM swap: day two

Woke up this morning to the sound of a semi in front of the house. . .engine delivery time!! After I spent about 90 minutes getting the engine up our sloped driveway, I inspected and took pictures of everything. I spent about an hour tearing off crap that I dont need off the JDM engine (axels, accessory pumps, etc) and then gave her a through cleaning. Tonight the F22 was finaly liberated from its former home. the BIGGEST pain in the ass was undoing the front and rear mounts. The side mounts were cake, but the front/rear were just so damn tough to get a wrench on. I ALMOST missed undoing the little green plug on the PS line before hoisting the engine (not in the helms, neither were a few other little things), but I cought it on my triple-check of everything. I'll probably spend most of tomorrow working on the wiring harness, I have some nice molex connectors to do the VTEC wires into the cabin. (pics tomorrow, when I get my USB cable back)

Just remeber to take the Throttle body off before you try to put the engine in..or you might be looking for a new TPS...

I know I'm out one, and I'm still waiting for Joel or Rich (of the TPC) to replace it...

well, insted of removing the TB, he could just remove the sensor. haha. I didnt break mine when i did my swap.

Man that heater hose in the back is a pain. Thats like the very last thing i remove.

One more thing is the crank pulley, if you dont remove it it prolly will scratch the crap outa your engine bay putting it in, but since i didnt wana mess with it when the engine was in i had it on.

Good luck yo. Hey make sure you use Thread LOCK on your Flywheel bolts, or you may be in the same mess im in currently.
