JDM sidemarkers - install help

i just picked these up:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1871929817

I'm going to wire them so that they are only on when the blinkers are on, like the VW passats. How big of a hole am i going to have to cut? I have a wings west big mouth and i already wired my jdm headlights (the corner part) to blink with the turn signal on. I'm just wondering if i have to seal the hole, how big of a hole, how to run the wires to the lights. If anyone else has these please post pics, i already have a picture of european prelude so i know exactly where to put them on the fender. thanks

what i did to put my sidemarkers was:

get a ruler, measure the sidemarkers, and draw it on a piece of paper. then place the paper where u want to the sidemarker, get a blade and outline the paper (b careful, or you can always use touch up paint after!), get a dremel and cut the hole open

I thought it would be hard to do but it ended up being very easy!! To be sure your not cutting to big of a whole you can cut it smaller then the paper you drew, and jus keep cuting more until it fits...Il takea pic of my car to show yu if u want

edit: here are some pics of my sidemarkrs (these arent PRelude JDMs, these are RSX jdms )

mabye someone with JDM fenders can do us a favor and measure the exact location on the fender. I'm buying some soon and want them in the factory location. I want to triple check before I go and cut up my front 1/4

by the way, do i seal the marker to the car with anything or just clip it in there?

They do just clip in. You will want to seal the metal around the markers to protect it from rust. I would defiantly make a template first in some cheap sheet metal. I had my friend a t a body shop put mine in and he said they weren't a piece of cake.

I changed the original amber ones to clears to match the bumper lenses. I'm certain that the marker has a foam gasket behind it to help seal it against the fender and help keep water out.

PS, glad I could help
