theres no true writeup because there are many ways that one can do the retrofit...i opted to mount the projector onto the stock reflector bowl itself but others made a plate type adapter for it and eliminated the stock bowl entirely...it gets even more complicated when you get into shrouds and whatnot....here are a few pointers tho...
1- 2.5" projectors fit nicely...i tried a 3" and it was tough to make fit...anything smaller than a 2.5" will fit, but you're gonna have to ge creative to make it look nice and clean
2- currently, the most sought after projectors are the S2000 and the tsx, respectively...these have been shown to outshine other projectors (they are, however, more expensive)
3- be patient and you will save money...read up on hidplanet.com about wiring harnesses and aiming etc...they also have a for-sale forum there where u can find parts...id also try ebay for parts...
even up till today, i still look at the newer cars to see what projectors they are equipped with to see if i wanna try another retrofit...feel free to post up questions and im sure those (including myself) that have done a set would be more than willing to help...
I've seen a few sets of 4th Gen. JDM headlights done with TSX projectors. There's actually a member on this board who has done a set...I just can't remember what his screen name was. I also do retrofits as well for people

Here are some pics just to give you an idea of what they would look like. These are some 94 Accord headlights, but they look almost like the 4th Gen. Prelude headlights. These have TSX projectors in them as well
HAHA - yeah. I think the hardest I've done is the 6th gen accord... those b1tches are skinny and there's no room behind the lights either. So its a tight squeeze. I know Spin_r_g does 4th gen lights for himself. His work is legit as well. I talk to him often.
