Does anyone know how much JDM parts (headlights in particular) would cost in Japan? I've got a friend over in Japan for the summer, will be coming back here to go to school in the fall, so he could bring the parts with him and avoid shipping costs. Would the savings be significant, or is ebay still the best bet?

i asked someone in japan and he said they can be bought for roughly $200.... but i guess they are difficult to find at a good price...

I bought my headlights brand new from a dealership near tokyo. The dealer sells JDM headlights over there for about the same price as a dealer sells the headlight/corner combo here in the USA. (about $350 each).

Yes, it's nice to have connections from Japan. I have a guy that lives there 8 months out of the year and then in Australia the other 4. He's my idol, man. Sweet ass cars for most the year, and the kick ass waves the rest. Could it get better? My boyfriens connection lives in Malaysia, and he gets alot of unique 3rd gen stuff from him.
