JDM One Piece HID question

Im planning on buying some JDM one piece headlights for my 93 si and also a HID kit at the same time. What bulb type should i use when buying the hids, the stock 9006 or the H4? Also is there anywhere else other than ebay that i might find a good price on JDMs?

JDM headlights use H4's, so get those...

dont put HIDs in those headlights... They are designed to project light up and to the left, as oppossed to USDM headlights which project light up and to the right. you will blind oncoming traffic really bad with HIDs. normal bulbs will also light up oncoming traffic, but not as bad as HID's

The best HID's for the JDM's were the AndyOKC retrofits, because he could aim the beams to spec. With plug and play kits you wont get this adjustability, so just know that going into it if you decide to put a kit in JDM's.

I have seen HID's in JDM one-pieces that look great, so it can be done.
