JDM MIrror Help

I am getting very frustrating wiht this F#$@ mod. Everything is now opperational but I can't get the mirrors to stop doing the opposite. When the drivers is in the pass is out. Someone please shed some light on this before I F#$@ loss my mind.
What I have done to try and resolve the issue is unplug the drivers, fold the passenger and then try to extend the both. What happens is the drivers resets and then they are back to the opposite.

After searching around I found the resolution on another site. If the mirror are working in reverse it means that you have to change the wiring on one of the motors to the opposite. As I was having the problem I was wondering if that was it but since I am not a electronics expert I didn't want to chance blowing the motor unless someone else thought it was a valid solution.
I know that some of the ppl thinking of this mod may not understand what I am talking about but if you get to this issue you should be far enough in the project to understand.

Peace...
