What's up, y'all?! Does anybody know whether or not the JDM Type R shift knob will screw right on to the 4G stock shift rod? I just installed the Type R shift boot, and it looks SWEET & SuPeR clean in our rides, but my old Momo shift knob will not go low enough to screw in the allen bolts into the rod anymore. Any help would be GREAT.
JDM fiend,

How does that reverse thread nut work w/ the knob? I'm sorry if that was an extremely dumb question. I just want to make sure everything will work before I drop 180 bucks on the knob.

Not a dumb question at all...
There's a nut (reverse threaded as I said before) that goes on upsidedown on the shift lever before you put the knob on. Then you screw the knob on, twist it to your desired position, and then tighen the nut up against it. It basically just holds it in place.
