jdm injectors?

okay, I'm doing the h23 -> h22 swap in a 94Si. Should I use the Si or the jdm VTEC injectors? I have read places where you can and places where you can't. Coincidentally, the jdm motor is from a 94 also....

I'm pretty sure I use the VTEC, just confirming

JDM injectors. Si injectors don't flow enough.

I broke the tps and the tps on my jdm motor is broke but I think I can just glue my tps back together...I'll find out. I have a 97SH with VTEC, it's fun, but just not as fun as the 4th gen vtec....I can't wait to try out the M2B4....

Just buy one off ebay. They're like $30 or so

M2B4 rocks too, lots of fun. Also, what kind of clutch/flywheel are you putting in? might as well do it since the motor is out.

just the basic exedy organic disc clutch with stock flywheel. I had this on my old Si for 5 or so years and didn't have a problem with it....that comes in tomorrow. Timing belt, that comes in monday. Now to get the crank pulley off both motors....

well, to be honest, spare cash isn't the problem. It's more of "do I want to pay $130 and get a clutch that works or pay $400+ to get something else"

so, I go with the cheaper solution since I will drive it everyday. If I decide to upgrade in the future, I'll go that route. I did think about it though - thanks for the suggestion!

Any other suggestions are welcome, I hope to have it running by the end of next week. Should I put the motor in first, then trans, or all at once? Taking it out (by myself) was a pain...

The only thing I remember with the organic is that it's basically an oem grade clutch.

The springs can pop out of the clutch due to high rpm use. That's what happened to my oem clutch around 75k.

fidanza flywheel I didn't feel too much of a difference but I was upgrading the clutch so I felt like while I was there...

I don't remember but did you order new cam seals? And if you have time, if you want that red/blue top, now's the time to paint your valve cover

crap - i forgot cam seals. I guess that means I'll be off to the so called "stealership" then....the autozone ones probably aren't worth anything

will an accord TB (with TPS) fit the h22? There are several accords in the junk yard close to my house, but no preludes....

I'm sure it's not that hard to replace the cam seal on the top left of the valve cover/head area. I want the motor in the car and running by the end of next week....I just have to find something to get the crank pulley off of both motors...

nope, no 4ws on this one. I have to be honest - it was an impulse buy

how do you feel about doing a tsx retrofit to a set of jdm one piecers?
