All models from japan are jdm. The 220ps engine is either a accord si-r motor or one from a type s prelude. Both cost a lot more money than the regular jdm h22.
As far as different engines in Japan they used f22 dohc, h22 doch vtec, type s h22, and sohc f22. They also used the same engines in the 5th gen I believe. The f22 sohc might have got changed to a f23 sohc though.
Notice these are rated at the flywheel and are not the exact horsepower if rated to the wheel... those will vary...

Only the USDM HP numbers are inflated about 5HP or so, and/or the JDM motors are rated lower than they really are, because I have seen first hand that a JDM will kick a USDM H22's ass all over the place in a drag race. Absolut's JDM H22 with a generic short ram intake as his only mod was SMOKING USDM H22 powered 4th Gens with all the bolt ons, VAFC etc.
