JDM Headlights

Hey guys I just installed JDM headlights on my car and they're great but one problem. The guy I got them from on eBay didn't ship them with the high beam bulbs or any wiring harness. Do any of you guys know where I would be able to buy wire harness for the regular lights and high beam lights as well as the high beam bulbs?

Thanks!

or just convert your high beams from the h1 to 9005/6

they make the pnp harness on passwordjdm. its expensive on there if you just want pnp, or you could make your own

I bought harnesses for maybe $2 to $5 each from Advance Auto Parts.. I'm sure they would be at AutoZone or any other auto parts store like that.

go to the junk yard to find the harnesses and splice them into your exiting harness on your car. the 5th gen uses the same high beam bulb and plug, you can order them from any honda dealership.

i had a similar issue.

So I can just go to Autozone and buy a harness for the regular JDM headlight bulb? Then how exactly do I convert my high beams? There is nothing in the high beam spot on the headlights. Sorry guys I am totally new to this area!

Low beam = H4
High Beam = H1
Foglights = H3

the plug for the H4 is identical to the H1, go to autozone (or any other car parts store) and buy one, splice the wires from the stock High beam connector and wire it up with the aftermarket plug you just bought at autozone. dont forget to buy a H1 bulb. they sell those bulbs at autozone (or any car parts store) as well

Oh okay sweet, I didn't realize it would be that easy. What exactly do I tell them as far as what kind of headlight it is? Because obviously the stock bulbs will not fit. I just thought something would be different since these lights came from Japan.

Alright guys this is what I have:

I just need to know what I need to get it working lol. Notice the one on the left (High Beam) has nothing and the one on the right at least has a bulb.

no dude
Left = low beam
RIght = high beam

basically, the bulb closes to the center of the car is the high beam, the one furthest out is the low beam.

as you can see on my pic, white/blue is low beam, yellow is high beam

yeah, the problem I had when i had to do this is that they couldnt find a "H1" or "H4" harness by those names, but the plugs for the old style sealed beam headlights work just the same. They just referred to them as "2 prong and 3 prong headlight sockets", worked like a champ.

http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...chGroup?Ntt=h4

there are 2 pics, the white one is the h4/h1 plug, you can get it at autozone, they come in black at autozone for like 5 bucks.

just go to autozone and ask the ppl for a h1/h4 headlight plug.

Thanks but I have already installed the headlights. I just need to get them wired up and working.

So all I have to do is go to AutoZone and ask them for 4 H1/H4 plug connectors and 2 Low Beam H4 bulbs. Sweet, I thought I would have had to jump on eBay or something and try and find the connectors and bulbs on there. Thanks Rich!

Alrighty everything worked out great except for one thing. When I got my JDM headlights...one of them was missing the little metal clip thing that holds the headlight bulb in the housing. So the only thing sort of keeping it in place is the rubber boot that goes around the headlight. That aint good cuz now when I go driving the headlight will jiggle around. Does anyone know where I might be able to find one of those metal clips?
