if any of you guys have wired a jdm headlight in with jdm harnesses in, can you please tell me how you did it and how you set it all up? i'm really stuck now and i don't want to have to use a separate switch for the running lamps.

The way I took is this, i have the h4 high beam on all the time. i thought about running it this way, but i deceide, umm why compliated the issue.

And on the orginally h4 harness that came with the bulb, it looks like the high beam filiment was set to turn on as normal driving lights away.

pc, using my way, wont' matter which way the power is drawn, cause the bulb still lights up, as long as you dont' cross the with the low beam filiment on the h4.

well after reading the faq's about this, i've think i may know how to do it. qveon is drawing me up a wiring diagram to help me out though. see it would be much simpler, however, it seems like when the guy rewired the whole thing, all the wires are messed up and i'm not sure what to do anymore.

ok well it looks like i have it wired properly... i think.
when i turn on the lights, the low outer low beam h4's come on, then when i put it in high beam mode, the inner h1's come on as well. however, i do not have it set up so that the high beams on the h4's come on. i didn't do this cause when i tested the leads that ran to the h1's i got some results that i think are pretty funky.
ok, when the low beams are on, i measure current on the red/green wire, and i also measure current on the red/blue wire, then when i put the high beams on, i measure current from only the red green wire, but not from the red/blue. how this makes sense, i have no idea. i would figure that since the h1's are on, you would be able to measure current through both of the wires and my results would be the other way around. anyway, how they are wired right now isn't so bad, but if anyone could please post up some wiring diagrams it would really help. thanks

do you understand that? i have no colors because i don't have a conversion i HAVE a JDM car so i don't need a conversion and it would take me a while to go take a multi meter and test all the connections, etc, etc.

btw you will have to make a connector in the jdm harness plug for the H4 high since there is not one in there.

you are the man. thanks for all your help. i'll probably just stick to what i have at the moment cause i don't think i want to go through and rewire all that again! i think it'll be bright enough using only one filament for the h4's. only thing is, if one of the bulbs burns out, where the hell am i going to get a new one? i went to autozone today and i couldn't find any...
