JDM Headlight Repaint....?

So I got my "chrome" JDM one-pieces in, and of course am converting them to black. However I'm thinking I might do the corners (behind the lens) orange...but I cant make up my mind. Any opinions....car is red, w/ CF hood, etc (for those of you who dont know) Yes, I realize its my car do what I like, but I just havent made up my mind yet and wanted some input.

K

maybe I'll photoshop either/or tonight.

eh.......i don't like that. the yellow / amber sticks out too much. i think the bumper lights already have that. having that side of it would look a little odd (just look at the ebay ones that already have the amber corners)

it would just stick out too much and ruins the flow of the jdm headlight.

but like you said, its up to you.

On mine I just had amber corner bulbs in them and they reflected just enough amber to look good IMO

yeah....my lower turns arent currently orange NEways (w/ the bigmouth kit and all). I'm hoping to get back to stock down there in the future, but not currently. But I was just talking about painting behind the corner lense amber, so it wasnt too annoying, but different. Like i said, I'll look around tonight for other pics w/ them and photoshop my ride....we'll see.

No I agree with you, I was suggesting an alternative to painting.

both cars are (were) mine. Sold the one on the left. The one on the right is milano red, but the pic is photoshopped with all color removed except for light lenses.
non-photochopped pic
