JDM headlight question: glare?

I've heard that the JDM headlights blind oncoming traffic due to the differing reflector aiming. If you were to open up the JDM headlights and the stock USDM ones, could the reflectors be interchanged . . .therby putting the USDM reflector into the JDM housing?

I have never heard of this with my JDM's. Only when the high beams are on do they blind them. No sure of the answer to you question but I know mine are blinding

No they can not be changed. The jdms have a single reflector bowl for each bulb. While the usdms are one big peice where the reflectors are connected together. If you are going to open up the jdm headlight I recomend that you just do a hid retrofit.

Thanks. I don't have the lights here in front of me at work to see if the reflectors are similar . . . but I guess you answered that question.

I'd put EDM reflectors into the JDM housing and HID it. That way you get no "flaring" of the light and a nice, clean one-piece housing instead of the EDM two piece.
