Nice! Can't wait to put mine on. I'm waiting until the new bumpers going on. Did you wire the high beams?

Yup. H4 Low/High Beam....H1's do nothing right now

Just some quick tips on install:

1) Leave the 2 bolts inside the engine bay last.
2) Wire and Solder while you have no headlights in...(keep one handy for testing...
3) Run the corner lamp plug back through the fender to the INSIDE of the engine bay...very easy to get to after you do that...

Did you use the hp.com wiring diagram? What relay did you use?? Is the light brighter now? They look real nice on your car. Now I know why our cars have those brown/gray things next to the headlights, the match our JDM lights! Always wondered why they were not color matched.

I did not use the hp.com wiring diagram. It has an unecessary relay and stuff for the H1 bulb. Also I'm having discussions with son tran cause I wired mine differently and they work fine...apparently you can mix up the lowground and the low lead and they will still work fine. Then I just ran the High Beam lead over to the third lead on the harness.

Also, you'd probably best go to an autoparts store and buy H4 Harnesses...the ones that came with mine were corroded and crap. some nice fresh harnesses are definitely in order.

Good info, thanks for the help guys. I can't wait to show all these guys in my town up with their projector head lights on their Ludes, yuck! They look so lame! To me the projectors look like they are trying to hard.

Are you going to use the relay? I just thought it sounded like more work...considering I could just run my lowbeams as DRL anyways...

Yeah my hood is f@cked....that's why I'm shopping for CF...it's bent up on the passenger side...

I got the H4 harness at Canadian Tire...which is like home/auto superstore. H4 harnesses are pretty standard plugs...going to the junkyard would be a waste of time. The ones I got were made by a company called Pyroil...$2 each

Looks good!

I was skeptical putting the black housing JDM's on my milano red Prelude, but they ended up looking great and can't imagine going back to the chrome USDM look ever again.

Enjoy the lights.

Mine's the opposite..most of the time I can't even close it...I can't slam it...I have to set the hood down, place the base of my palms on the front of the hood, and then a swift Bruce-Lee-like thrust to get it to lock. That's why in the side pic the hood looks so slammed down...

I wish I had seen 93PreludeS's post about the Spoon hood earlier

BTW I only paid $220 US for the lights hehe....
