JDM headlight installation question...

hey, I'm about to get started on replacing my broken bumper with my newly painted one, and I figure I'll install the jdm 1-piece headlights while I'm at it. I don't have a soldering iron with me, and I was wondering if it'd be okay (temporarily, of course) to just use aligator clips (the kind you use to tap into a power line) to attach the wires coming from the jdms to the High, low and corner wire power and ground wires? It'll take me a bit of time to get the bumper off and transfer the parts over to the cover, but if anyone can give me some help, that'd be awesome. Thanks, Adam.

well its an issue of it having to be water proof cause of condensation i wouldnt leave live wires bare and may short out if done like that

Heat shrinking is actually the right way to do it. However, I'm only useing electrical tape. I spliced and wrapped.

cool guys, thanks for all the help so far. Another little Q: what gauge are the wires running into the high beams? low beams? corner lamps? Phew... got the bumper off, I remember it being so much easier when my brother was helping me, i'm covered in sweat ... yay. Be back soon. Thanks, Adam.
