JDM headlight H1's

I just got some JDM headlights and they came with H1 bulbs but no harness. Here's my question, there are 2 spade connectors coming off the bulb, however I was just looking at H1's bulbs yesterday at a store and online and I see only 1 spade coming from the back of those. What's with that? Is there another plug that's on the back of the H1's in my JDM's?

Also which year civics used H1 or H4 bulbs so that I know where to look for the harnesses in the junkyard?

the low beam is H4 and the high beam is H1.

you say the H1 bulbs you were looking at had a spade connector coming out of them? was this connector on a wire? seems like you were looking at a foglight bulb....

anyways, you can get the harness from an auto parts store. the H4 and H1 harnesses are interchangeable. I saw some H4/H1 harnesses yesterday for about $4 each.

yeah i thought h1's are fog lights, but the spade wasn't on a wire it was all 1 piece and the end of it had 1 prong instead of 2 (looks kinda like a plug for any appliance you'd plug into a wall) like my h1's have right now.

but I can use an H4 harness on the H1's you say? it just doesn't use the plug on the top of the harness i'm guessing? ok cool thanks for the help!!

the H1's in the jdm headlights use a adapter. They go from the single prong on the bulb to a two prong adapter.
