JDM headlight bulb ???

Trying to find out which bulbs I need.
I am looking to do an HID setup
I know they use H1 and H4 but which is low, which is high, and what bulbs do I need for the corners?
Tried searching and got spun around.....
Thanks

H4's are for both the low and high beam...most HID kits DO NOT have the high beam in them...if you want a Hi/Low beam kit, it'll cost you alot more...IMO, u will not need the high beams anyway...

Wrong. The H4 is the lowbeam and the H1 is the high beam. We have verified this with members that own JDM preludes.

^^Doenst matter...if he's getting HID's, then I am actually correct...unless he wants to get 2 sets of HID's, 1 for H4 and 1 for H1...

omg..
in JDM 1 piece (which I own a set of and have verified this info)
The outer bulb is an H4 bulb the inner is an H1.
They are wired up the same as the USDM where H4 is low and H1 is high beam.

When high beam is enabled, both lights are on.
SO if you want HID's hook it up in the low beam, unless you can manage to properly retrofit bi-xenon projectors.
Use the stock H1 high beams. that'll be the easiest way.
