JDM H22A and USDM H22A

My current USDM h22a is pouched, and needs to be rebuilt, so what im going to do is buy a JDM H22a, and swap it in, question...

Most places like HondaMotorsOnline, sell the complete swap...

ECU, Axles, Tranny etc etc....

Do I need any of this other than the basic motor? Even the JDM ECU???

Any help is appreicated...

You don't need the axle or tranny....unless you want LSD in the tranny...

I believe you would want the JDM ECU so it can run the JDM distributor? I'm not familiar in this area...

You only need the motor, you can use the USDM ECU and all your other parts still but your motor will probablly perform better with the JDM one tho

If the only thing thats toasted is the motor, just get the motor. That is, unless you think you'll need the axles at some later date, etc... All your sensors should swap over from the JDM motor so you should be able to use the USDM ECU and harness that is already in the car. If any of the sensors, etc., have different plugs or whatever, just use the USDM sensors you have now.. I'm sure you get the picture..
