i have a plan to swap my 93 si engine in for a VTEC but im going into college and im pretty sure i wont have the money right now. my question is are the 93-95 VTEC engines going to get really rare and expensive, and if they are would it be smarter to buy everthing i need for the OBDI conversion now so i dont get stuck not being able to find the parts? i figure that i can wait till im out of school and pick up a power-plant with the obdII and change the wiring to obdI. i gues what i need to know is am i going to be able to find a jdm 93-95 VTEC engine in four years? or should i buy the wiring now? thanks
tyler
I wouldn't worry about the engine that much. If you get a 92-95 jdm you don't need to convert anything as far as emmisions. I doubt they will become that "rare"
