JDM h22a here i come

I am just curious if there is anyone in the San Diego area that is willing to come down and help me swap my motor. I am pretty confidant that I can do it but I just want someone there to guide me to sorta...

My car is wired for VTEC but where do I hook the wires up to on the motor?

What if I installed everything but didnt wire VTEC? what would happen if I started the car? Woould it be safe to drive until I got it wired?

You can drive it w/out vtec wired, but you rev limit will be 6500 and you will throw vtec codes... I dont think the ecu will go into limp home mode though. It would be normal, but no vtec and a lower redline.

....if you don't have a Helms, I would get one. has step by step instructoins on engine overhaul. and it also has all those small yet important info, like torque specs, proper procedure to remove the pressure in the fuel system... it comes in handy and makes the swap easier and more safe.
