Are you guys sure that is the right relay because I found a few pics on ebay of another JDM Mirror Set with the relay. Here are the pics:

Are you guys serious about there being electric folding mirrors? I know they fold, but just manually, but good. I was almost sideswiped once and got hit on the mirror wihc just folded. No damage.

In the land of japan they have all the cool stuff...on these you just press a button and they close...

So the one on the left is the JDM relay?

I'm so confused about which relay is the correct relay...

the relay on the left there.. that looks like the main/fuel pump relay, no? I think that's what that is.

I'm not sure, that's why I posted...they came w/ my mirrors. Thanks for lettin me kno it could be the main/fuel pump relay, I would have never known

Also, are you sure that the relay on the door is for the mirrors? I was looking at the helms and the only 'relay' it has is the 15A fuse, nothing connects to the the power window/ lock relay...

In the US version the mirrors aren't connected to the door lock relay, but I think in Japan, they are.

I wouldn't have a problem using the Integra relay except that I think the timing on the relay is different than the prelude one, and the mirrors don't close all the way (I think that's what I remember hearing).

I really wanna know if I have the right relay.

nah, it's by Pomona (if you've heard of it)... like 40 miles east of Los Angeles. There's many Claremont's(few different spellings) in Cali.

and they fold completely in and out? If so, awesome. You followed the directions for the integra relay correct?

yes and yes

The main problem I have though, is even after they are completely folded, you can still hear the motor trying to fold it more than it can for a bit, then itl stop.... So its kinda annoying. But it folds completely in and out.. I guess it's because the timing of the relay is off... I don't know if that's fixable or whatever.. atleast its working

yeah see that's the only thing I thought would be w problem using the relay from a different car, is the timing of how long it would try and fold the mirrors. So does it only keep trying when it closes or when they open too? And also, does the motor 'click' when it's trying farther than it should?

It happens for both closing and opening. The mirror folds, then it keeps trying and you hear the click...it does that about two times, then itl stop. I dont htink its the motor thats clicking but the mirror themselves..

BTW: If you're wondering where i put the relay, I put mines under the switch (Thats where i did all the connections), it fit in there fine..

ok didnt' see it, but back from teh dead, my relay has freakin 7 wires

edit: since this is the FAQ thread, i will add my new info here for ppl

ok i just got me some JDM mirrors, and all the relay and wiring harness. the harness i got is for a 92-93 lude because the mirror adjustment is on the door while mine is on the center console.

anyhow the peice i got comes with all teh door harness and relays. so ifi there is an intrest i will do it after i get back from vocation, or if i can i will do it before, and try to have functional JDM mirrors
