ok here is the deal, i installed my jdm fogs on friday and they worked fine bout 3 days. ( i dont have a switch so i shorted the red and yellow wire, and the orange one ). Everything worked well, til yesterday i noticed they werent on. So today when i woke up I checked the relay and that was fine, i took the bumper off and checked the bulbs and they are both fine. So i checked the fuse and it was blown ! I couldnt figure out why it blew. So i replaced the fuse with another 15A. It was working fine from that point on until 2night, when i finished detailing the car, i parked it and the garage, and noticed it wasnt as bright on the ground as it usually was. I then go and check the fuse again, and again its blown ! Now i dont understand why it works for a couple of hours or days then blows. It doesnt make since, since i didnt really do anything to the wiring. I just plugged them into the factory harness, connected the relay, and shorted the 2 wires from the switch's harness and that was it. So i dont know what to do now, i didnt put another fuse in there yet til i figure out whats goin on. Can anyone help ?

well, maybe it was the wrong amperage that may have caused it to blow the second time?? I don't know if that's a cause for it but i'm just trying to provide some possibilities......
Ummm open the part of the JDM fogs where you change your bulbs. Is there evidence of water in there. If so that could be your problem. cause you said it blew after you detailed = washing.

Using a higher amp fuse wouldn't change anything other than how many amps will be allowed to travel through the circuit. The bad thing about using a higher amp fuse is that you could damage the wiring or components that aren't made to handle the extra amps.
If you are blowing fuses there has to be a short at some point or, in some cases, too much continuous draw on the line that is at the maximum rated draw or a hair over. Like Qveon, definitely check for any water getting inside the housing or near the bulb as it will short out the line quite easily. Also check the length of the wireinng and make sure none of the wires are bare.
yea i checked all that, no water is gettin in, as i changed the bulbs myself, and double checked it yesterday. I also checked the wiring from both harnesses, they are all good to go. I looked for shorts, but theres not that many places to look for besides on the relay harness, and on the fog light harnesses, and all those wires ae clean. What bugs me is that they work well for a day or 2 b4 the fuse blows ! And yea, the fog likes use a 15A fuse. At least thats that it says on the fuse box cover, and on the wiring diagram.

^^^ yea kinda, i realized i d never buy a tweeter fog stwich cause i like my lights on at all times anyway, so i didnt use the clip, i just cut the red/yellow wire and connected it to the orange wire with a butt connector to short it out, i checked that also, the wires arent stripped or anything so everything is ok there. I put a 25A yohan told me to try uppin by 10A it wouldnt hurt fuse in there on tuesday night, and i drove all night last night and a bit tuesday night, this is the longuest the fuse has held, so far it hasnt blown. Today i m goin to check the connections and see the status of the wires, and make sure that 25A fuse is not burning anything. If you think of any other ideas, please let me know, i wanna check all possibilities to solve this problem and eventually go back to a 15A fuse.
thx

oh ok, i see. The reason why i did it this way is from what yohan had posted. From that picture, unless i looked at it wrong. anyhow, i m goin to check it out and see.
Edit: The wires in my car look the same as this. I m not so sure i see which other red/yellow you are talking about. On yohan's pic the paper clip seems to me on the 2nd and 3rd pins, which from what i see are red/yellow and orange.

The fogs already come on with 2 and 3 connected. the 3rd pin us red/green, and pin 1 has no wire on it. I drove for a while 2night, and and so far the 25A fuse is workin well, 2morrow if it doesnt rain, i ll get a chance to check out how the wires are holdin up. right now i m on red/yel and orange, and it works, so we ll see.
