(JDM) Foglight question...

hey, quick Q: I just bought a set of foglights off eBay and the guy who sold thems says on of the covers that goes over the entire assembly is damaged, but can be replaced. Is the "Garnish - Foglight" part on Hondaautomotiveparts.com ($20) the cover, and will it fit over these foggies, despite their 'JDM' name?

Also, while on topic, they didn't come with a switch, and I'd kind like to have the oem button for them, it's listed on hap for $40 (I could get a discount though), but would it work? I'll surf later all the fog threads and try to find an answer to this question, thanks.

The switch will work if you get the relay for it also.

As far as the parts, i checked the site theres no picture so hard to tell. as well in the accessories install there was no photo ..

I would write hondaautomotive parts and see if they have the aprt and verify thats what your looking for.

Dont even bother asking HondaAutomotiveParts... they wont have it. The garnish covers are not longer in production, and no parts place will have them. I know than www.manhonda.com has none, and www.hondaautomotiveparts.com have none.

If you'd done research here before hand, you would've discovered that no one has any fog trim pieces left. You'll have to order some from Joel and hope he finishes them someday. Or make your own out of cardboard or something.

If I had done my research ahead of time, I still would not have predicted an e-mail from the seller AFTER I paid him saying he damaged one of the faces and would refund some of my money before shipping it.

Also, I was just checking hap to see what part it was, I wouldn't have ordered from them anyway. I'm sure other dealers are just as unlikely to get one, but when I got my sunroof visor, no dealer had the, but my dad made a quick call to his zone parts warehouse and they had one left, I even got an "obsolete item" discount. Anything's possible.

I did a National database search for anything related to fogs about 6 months ago. There was only one set of fog lights available in the US. I am sure that that set is sold by now.

anyone have the part number for those covers, by chance? I hate how hap doesn't give you the honda part number.
