jdm foglight issue please help.....

i just got some jdm foglights from the junkyard, but i couldnt find the relay.

i also picked up the tweeter with the fog light button.

here's what i plan to do:
1. wire the fog lights to a ground.
2. Connect the fog light power wires together into a single
15w fuse holder.
Problems:
1. The problem is from the fuse holder where do i go from there.
since i do not have a relay, for i want the fog light to go on by the
push of the fog switch located on the tweeter.
2. The button has these wires and i do not know what the each wire
goes to. The harness to the button is intact but the other end is
clipped (junkyard) so the wires i have are..
blk/redwire w/ black stripe
blk/redwire
silver/blackwire
silver/redwire w/ green stripe
silver/orangewire
blk/redwire w/yellow stipe

please help........

My 92 was prewired for oem fogs. I think most of them are. The wires should be behind the bumper for the fogs. The wiring for the relay is hanging under the dash. And the wiring for the tweeter switch (if you have a 92-93) is wrapped in the dash harness that runs behind the drivers side tweeter cover.

And as for the relay, I just bought an apc fog light kit for $12 from walmart(better than paying $43 from honda). It has a relay that fits right into the harness. I just haven't hooked up my lights yet, so I dont know if it works. But I dont see why it shouldn't. I'm doing it today so I'll let u know.

I just tested out the lights and they work. So apc is useful for something.

This is how the relay pin should look, if you don't know. Kind of blurry, but u get the idea

found it, got it, thanks, yet... when i turn on the power and push the button it doesn't illuminate like my cruise crontrol, is it because maybe i do not have the relay or the fog lights installed yet?

All 4th gens have all the necessary foglight wiring, all you should need to buy is a relay. The bulb in the switch could be blown, or you may need to have the headlights on for it to work (the fogs only come on with the headlights).

just buy an auto relay from radio shack and make your own harness. Then plug it in to the brown plug under your dash.

Relay is about - $3

Wire and connecters about - $8

or find another ABS relay, IIRC it is the same

1.buy the relay...
