im going to look in to some wiring diagrams i have here. first off. is your car RHD or LHD. it may not make a difference but i need to know for connector locations. Second off where did you get the kit from? i would like one lol. ill go ahead and look in to the LHD diagram and ill update you on finds and try to give you an idea where to test next. good luck man!

i'm assuming u know that the headlights have to be on for them to work...

other than that, make sure u connected the sub harness to the correct wire harness. there's two under the dash that look very similar, and the other one is for the security system.

could also be fuses, bad relay, wires, etc, etc.....

tell me if this works. go in to your under the hood fuse box look at the cover and find the slot for the fog lights. they may be separate or together. check to see if there is a fuse in there. you may not even have one since your car didnt come with fogs. if there is even if it looks good try a known good fuse in the slot and test the lights. if they still dont work test the terminals in the box for voltage. you can use a test light ( the thing that looks like a screw driver ) if there isnt voltage message me back. if there is voltage and know good fuses didnt work go to the under the dash fuse box and do the same (im almost certain there wont be any fuses related to the fogs here) next test that the relay is getting voltage and if it isnt message me back if it is then take the relay out and test it. if you need to know how to do this i can help you on this as well. if there is voltage but still no lights youll need to test the switch. if this is a new honda kit i dont think the switch will be a problem but anyway test the connector for voltage here as well and if there is voltage but theres no light on with the headlights on (pretty sure the instructions mentioned a light) then more than likely its a faulty switch. most importantly go back all the way through the connections you put in and reconnect them. check everything thats accessible for voltage with a test light. and if none of these ideas fixed it and you find that theres an area such as the fuse holder, relay connector, switch, or anything else i may have missed then message me back. ill try to reply quickly so you can get em workin, well if you havnt already, once again good luck

anther thing you could do is... remove the relay and put a wire to make the connection directly.... but dont remember wich wires were... if you wire them wrong you will be blowing a fuse
i think they were red/yel but not sure

if the connection directly works, then replace the relay with a 5pin relay...

other thing to check is the bulbs, the bulbs connection...

i found the problem... its the relay .

in here shows that theres power from relay harness

so i opened up the relay ...found out that one of the wires is not making contact .so i re-soldered the points ..(sorry i couldnt get a better pics)

re-test the relay and now the switch w/ the lights on ..

thanks guys for all the help...

Hey man,

I recently got Fogs for my 98, and i am experiencing the same exact problem as you. I know for a fact the lights work, but i am getting no power through my switch. I am, getting power to it from 2 connections, though (i used the test light) and power to 1 connection on the relay. My switch is no illuminating, and i am getting no power back to my lights. Do you think i may also have a relay problem?

check the relay. if its good and theres power to the switch but no light then your switch may be bad

Hey guys,

So it turned out to be a relay AND switch problem. Both were bad. Awesome, right? I ended up wiring around everything with a different switch that has load, ground, and supply lines. It worked much better for me, only downside is i gotta remember to turn my fogs off every time. Oh well. Anyways im finished with this project, finally, and will post pics soon!

you could wire it with a 5pin relay... a lot cheaper than the honda.. and a lot cheaper than having a dead battery if you forgot to turn them off

thats what i use in my wiring... and wire it with the running lights
