There are so many prelude engines out there. Does anyone have a list of all of the 4 and 5 gen engines? SI, Vtec, Srv, SI 4ws, SI Vtec, type s, etc...?

I can definately say that the option for 92 did not exist, I have the Si/4ws and the only 2 engines made for the vehicle were the 2.2L SOHC or F22 and the H23

There aren't that many prelude's engine out there... mainly just H23's, H22's, F22's, and that's about it.. unlike those integra's and civic's B16's and B16's

well if the reason you want a 95 jdm type s motor is because of odb1 you dont have to worry because japense dont have all that odb junk, so an 99 jdm type s would be gravy.

If you are considering putting the the H22a4 engine out of a Type-S, forget it, i read an article on the swap from a H23 to the H22a4, the guy wanted to commit suicide by the time it was over, he got it done, but he had 2 mechanics on hand to help. But who knows, maybe you can get it done easier.

From the research I have done, the 4th generation prelude will require the Jdm prelude Sir Spec S engine. This is the same engine as the Type S without the ATTS.

Here is a link I found Honda News

The HP is no where near 230. I think it's actualy like 197 HP ,or maybe 217 (cant remember if it's 200 or 220 PS).

I'm pretty sure you are wrong. You might not be, but I'd like to see exactly where you are getting this info. The JDM H23 VTEC out of the Accord SIR wagon has 220 PS , which is a completley different scale than the HP scale (1 PS=less than 1 HP).
