well i did, not knowing about the right hand driving part, cause the plastic screen bends towards it...ahh well i got that fixed....now does anyone know why the blinkers would stay lid up solid, and when signaled it would flash in the direction signaled....but i would like it to be off when not in use, so does anyone know why it does that, since the USDM and JDM wiring diagram where different a bit...

Can you explain this further..........
This is what I have......
When it is cold outside and I start the car, the blinker stays lit on both sides-left and right.
when I press the turn signal indication left or right, it blinks in the direction of the turn signal but the other side stays lit.
When the car warms up, the does not stay lit, the blinker on both sides go out. but when I press the turn signal light, nothing happens to the guage.
I had some relays wired to my headlights and turnsignal........so I think this is where my problem is but, I am not sure. I guess I can't wait for a nice weather to check things out.....

ohh ur saying its cause of the temperature?
well when i did this, it was freakin cold outside, and it did the identical thingg u described except that this ones, when i started the car again, the signals where off and when signaled in one direction both would blink in a dimmer light, and i thought the relay was messed, but i dono the exact reason either

Not really cause of temperation, mine is doing it because I have some 5 pin relays wired to the headlight and turn signal so I get direct 12V power output.

yes, did u get the whole dash harness? you need to ground the blinkers, if you got an EL harness, there should be a plug at the pass side of the dash, three wires in it, green black strip/black/black white stripe, ground the black one and that will fix your bnlinker problem

You mean the plug that will not plug into any connector on the passenger side.....I think I just taped it off.
Thanks I will try that out when it stops raining/windy/cold.

How would you ground it?

hey i think ur reffering to the USDM wiring of the EL cluster....cause the JDM has some different wiring and their is only one black if i think right and its grounded but still the same effect...hmm but there are like couple of wires that me and my friend didnt hook up since we dont know the purpose of them......does anyone have the JDM wiiring ffor the EL cluster?
