JDM Digital Climate Control HELP!

Ok have a few questions... im in the middle of wiring everything up. I'm currently trying to wire up the power transistor and transistor relay. Now i followed the diagram on Forbidden's webpage. I got most if it wired up. First question, it says to cut the BLU/RED wire from the blower motor, (i kno its that thick fat wire under the blower) and connect it to wire #1, which side do i connect wire #1 to? the side thats runs through the car or the lil piece that is left on the 2pin connector under the blower motor? If i connect it to either end, how is the motor getting power? May sound like a dumb question, probably is, but jus curious.

I used the thick blue/red wire that was originally connected to the USDM resistor. That wire goes to the old control unit harness, so I just connected that to the smaller blue/red wire (#1) on the 16 pin harness.

You have to connect it to the piece of wire that goes to the 2pin connector under the blower motor. If you look at the 2nd part of the diagram you'll see that the wire that goes through the blower motor passes through the power transistor and goes to ground this is how the blower motor is powered. I'm not exactly sure how transistor works but my understanding is that when you send a certain voltage on the other pin it restricts the current that passes throught the transistor or something like that so that's how the blower motor speed is controlled. The blower motor high relay turns on at full speed so that all the current can pass through the blower motor so it can run at full speed.

Hope that's clear enough since I have a few beers in me right now.

yea that's pretty clear enough. so as long as i tap it to the thick BLU/RED wire, it should be fine? Thanks for the help.
