I know I need the contol unit and the harnesses, is there anytning else? I don't mine trying to figure it out. I think it is an awsome thing, and will complemen the rest of the digital stuff=). THanks,

hooking up a jdm climate control is a BIG job...or that's what i have heard. not only do you need the harnesses, you also need 3 temp sensors and a lot of hours to figure out all the wiring. there are less than a handfull of people that have actually put in the time to make it work right. there is one guy on hp.com named caz who has done it and also i think one of our moderators, dr. james, has done it to one of his previous cars. caz prefers that people not contact him about it because it's just too big of a job. i think there was actually a guy on the board a few weeks ago that paid caz to install it for him. maybe do a search about it and pm him.

good luck...

Yeah that would be me. Caz hooked me up. He installed mine of course for a fee but it was because I hadevery part needed to do it. On the american one, the hot and cold control is worked by a cable. On the jap one, its electronic and uses a motor. There is alot of fabrication and testing out so it takes a while but the people on ebay buying those control unit have no clue that there are at least ten more things you need.

Ok,
So far all I know is that I need the control unit, and the 3 temp sensors. Also the ebay kits are not whole units right? I did a search and I found a lot of info about it, but no one actually ever says wha all you need to buy. I am going to be living in Japan this summer so I might be able to pick one up. I just need to know what all to buy.
THanks,
Josh

Do a search under "climate control" and you should find exactly what you are looking for!

I have done searches, but no one ever states exactly what you need, It is all a bunch of guesses. Anyone know the actual items you need?
