JDM Climate Control Idea!

ok..so our ac works like this...u can turn it on...blows cold air, you can select 4 diff speeds..low to high...you can operate your rear defogger..switch the vents..def, to floor, to cabin , and you can turn on heat...now...can we simply wire up the JDM unit to function this way...it wont work as its designed.ie climate control, but id love it if it just blows cold air when i turn on the ac..i can operate fan speeds, and turn on heat, and rear defroster ect...if it can be hooked up this way, wouldnt that mean you wouldnt need the sensors? seems to me this would work, unless im missing something here..any thoughts?

Re: JDM Climate Control Idea!

sounds ok to me, not ideal but it would look cooler than the stock setup...

I replied to that in my thread, the hardest part is the controlling if you want hot or cold air, but you could just leave that out and control it manually from under the passenger side of the dash and do the rest with the JDM climate control
