JDM Climate Control Blower Problem

First of all, I've looked in most of the JDM Climate Control topics and I have find some people with the same problem, but they havent say how they solve it.

I have made the conversion, everything works fine except for the blower (and the A/C I dont know).

Some times the control unit blinks, and if I play with the temp the blinking stops.

Any idea of what could be causing it?

The problem with the blower is that with the unit not work. I have tested the voltages with the IG on, the #3 BLU/ORN (20 pin) have almost 12v and it shold be ground, the #9 WHT/BLU (16 pin) is ground and should have voltage, and the #1 BLU/RED (16 pin) have almost 12v and it should be ground or at least much less than 12v.

I was frustrated and decided to remove the pins, and for mistake I left the IG on, and removed the 20 pin, and with the 16 pin in the unit (the unit was off), the blower start to blow not at high speed but works. I tested the #9 WHT/BLU (16 pin) and it haved like 1.4v and the #1 BLU/RED (16 pin) have like 5.6v.

I connected the 20 pins, just from above (not full contact), and changes to high speed (the unit still off). Then I insert the pin full inside and the blower stopped.

I remove all the pins, and connect just the needed to the unit to power on and the needed for the blower, test it and nothing, test it again with the 16 pin (#9 WHT/BLU and #1 BLU/RED) alone, and the blower works at middle speed.

Then connecting some wires of the 20 pins, #3 BLU/ORN, #13 BLK/YEL, #16 BLK, Then I started to play with the #16 BLK and the blower start at full speed but the unit off, and removed the #16 and the turn to middle speed. I think that the same happens if I left the #16 in and take out the #13.

Any idea of what could be causing this problem? or what corrections should I make?

I have followed all the diagrams, pin outs, everything and just have that problem.
I havent connected the sensors yet.

The unit have a -1.5v | +1.5v switch in the bottom any idea for what it is?

I am having problems with my Air Mix Motor. Sometimes when I change the temp, the motor doesn't move at all until I hit the top number or bottom number (I.E. I am on 32, the air mix motor wont move until I hit 18). I am positive I wired it up via Jrcormier.com. Did you have this problem at one time? Maybe my air mix motor is bad?

I have almost the same problem with the old unit... my motor was changing in 24 to full "open" and it "close" when I get to 32... when I installed all the sensors it changes the temp of moving...
But with the new one it works fine

Your fan/blower works good?

Yeah my fan blower works fine, and my recirculation works, and the mode works. Seems everything is working correctly except the air mix motor. Basically, I can only have it full open or full closed, so I'm guessing the Auto function will not work at this moment (I do not have A/C yet).

maybe the auto function will work... i think the most that it controls is the fan speed and the air mix motor...

so maybe in your case the auto function will regulate the fan speed than the air mix...

I dont have a/c yet neither, but i think that my auto works fine...

to make sure that the unit is fine sending the right signals to the air mix...
try connecting a voltimeter to the #4-red/yel and #12-red/wht of the 16pin
and then to the #7-gry and #8-pnk/blk of the 20pin
-i dont know if you need to disconnect the air mix to make that "test", try disconecting it, or both.

the air mix makes "big" moves like from 24 to 18, and "little" moves like from 25 to 32
-where it makes the "big" moves you should expect a change in voltage for more time...

so, if you see several changes in voltages, your unit should be fine
and then you wil need the air mix motor

you have installed your air mix motor already?

here are 2 pics where I installed mine... so you dont have to remove the heater unless you have a "hose" or a tube that goes to the driver side of the heater (i think its not necesary)
