You need the sensors form the JDM car to make it work, there is a temp sensor inside and outside......if you dont' have those, all you'll do is blow air.

BTW if you see one of those "complete" unit on Ebay with the heater unit and all that stuff, don't even think you can swap the whole heater unit and/or blower since they are the opposite of ours since they're made for RHD cars

Also I don't think the electrical side of the installation is the biggest problem... I think it's more the mechanical side of it...

its pretty hard, you have the temp sensors and instead of working the temp and fan speed by levers like the USDM the JDM unit uses electric motors to control those actions, the only person i know of that has a working unit in the states is a hondaprelude.com member named CAZ

Waste of $, but it does look clean. I had one in my car for about a year and a half. I fooled around with it a few times, all I could ever get it to do it turn on and I got the rear defroster to work ... other than that I do not know. Personally if I were CAZ I would make a harness so the install is just plug and play, similar to say an OBD-2 - OBD-1 ecu conversion ... but that's just my two cents ... btw, don't bother emailing CAZ about help, he's an ass. Just my two cents.

i'll still take it if its possible to make it blow cold air and control the fan speed

not much need for a heater here in florida and clear tape thing under the sliders is peeling off on mine.

making it blow cold air shouldn't be too hard, the hardest part would be changing between cold and hot air since it's not a cable that controls it on the digital climate control, it's a motor...

controlling the fan speed is also one of the hard part though it's only electricity, no mechanical stuff to worry about there...
