sunlight sensor (which you don't really need)
Make sure the power transistor came with the blower, i couldn't make it out in the pics, but it's prob. there. I also didn't see the inside or outside temp. sensors, but he says they're there as well.
You won't need the actual blower, evaporator, nor the heater box since those are for RHD, just remove the sensors and stuff from them and adapt them to the ones already in your car. Good luck!
I think that its a really good mod and wanted to do it myself but after reading the FAQ I was a little discouraged. Good Luck on the install... I admire your courage. Post those pics..
theres a write up for the whole thing, just do some searching and you should find it, I put my bid in like 2 seconds too late for that stupid auction, stupid road runner

But why would you make it more complicated than it already is?
I think that would be far more effort than it is to just swap in the air mix motor, transistor, high relay and evap. sensor.
Forbidden's write-up is the ONLY thing you need. He did an incredible job at making this as conprehensive and easy as possible
cool, i'll just wait till i get the stuff and then figure out exactly how to do it. The thing is I have access to a machine shop and a good machinist so if its easier to just make mounts than swap the motor and everything I could do it. Can't wait to get started.
btw do you have to evacuate the A/C? I read forbidenns write up and he said you do but Go Pre doesn't mention it so I was trying to figure that out.

When you get the parts you'll see why you can't just swap them.

If you do it like I did, you'll have to evacuate the A/C. Though you could use the USDM cable to hook up your airmix motor somewhere more accessible and do the whole thing without removing the dash.
well the dash and the carper and well the whole interior is already out of the car, literally. No seats carpet panels plastic anything. I should be getting it tommorow.
Forbidden: are you open to answering questions about this swap since I"ll prolly follow your right up.

You removed the dash without removing the evaporator, heater unit and blower unit? Geez that must've been a pita Well if you have the dash out already you might be able to figure out a way to do it without disconnecting the evaporator.

Yeah don't worry if you have any questions or anything just ask and I'll see what I can do.
well i didn't get all the sensores they said in the auction. I'm missing the interior temp, exterior temp, sunlight sensor, and the heater valve and solenoid.
so can I mount the mix control motor and wire it and put the dash back on without having the sensors?

You can run the system without the sensors at all, though you won't have the auto function working. If you want to put the sun and interior sensors in the stock locations it would be easier to do it with the dash out of the car, especially for the sun sensor since it's right by the windshield but make sure you pass the wires and attach them somewhere you'll be able to get them easily.
As for the heater valve and solenoid, if you don't have them, don't worry about them, I don't think they add any functionnality.
