OK, i finally received the parts needed for installing the Climate Control.....everything looks good, but i'm just a bit confused about the inside temp sensor...

someone told me it's supposed to come with a little hose that attaches somewhere inside the air flow pipes, so it has to be intalled pretty close to the actual contol unit......i'd have to make a hole in the dash.

but i also saw someone in the board who posted a pic of the sensor in one of the console plugs...so my question is, does the hose it 's supposed to come with make any difference in the temp reading??

I have to decide where to install it soon...thanks for any help in advance.

The hose is used on the JDM cars to pull interior air across the sesnor to give it a more accurate reading. We don't have anywhere on our system to hook this to so you can put it anywhere you like. I put mine in the center console and it reads the temp pretty well.

yeah I put mine in the center console as well, I believe it's my pics you saw of the sensor there. Works great.
