JDM 1pc. The cheap way....

... I was thinking, what's the difference besides it being one piece that we can't do ourselves? Isn't it possible to Spray Paint the inside of the headlamp housing black, and it would be JDM lookalikes w/o the 1 pc?

...Any opinions, i mean c'mon 600 for headlights or 19.95 for spray paint?? IS this possible and what do you guys think about this...?

Dang, I have always wondered this...you know open it up, paint it black..get the clear parking lights, paint the inside black and you're all set...

I think it could work...

But it wouldn't be 1 piece, which is what I like about the JDMs. You can try to paint it, but you will paint over the reflective part, which will give you crappy lighting. THe important part of our lights is the reflectors, whereas the JDMs have projectors

If you mess up, some new headlights will be comparable in cost to JDMs

When I smashed my front end, I got new headlights for around $700. I tried to get JDMs, but my insurance wasn't feeling it. I was so angry

Sorry. I was wrong. I had a different picture in my head.

But I still think that it looks like the reflectors on the US headlights seem more important to the beam pattern. Our headlights are pretty weak compared to other lights already, so painting over the reflective part will make matters worse.
