Jack Cover

It might sound like a really dumb question, but: could somebody possibly post a picture and/or words demonstrating how the jack cover fits over the jack in the boot? I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it to stay on!

Jack Cover

On the left edge of the cover is a lug which fits in to a slot to the left side of the jack housing, you then close and turn the knob.
If you still have problems we could meet.

[Right side in correctly. Then turn the knob to fasten.
Dia, you're nice, I'm way to lazy to do shhh like that. You are the kind of person that makes this sight useful for so many.

dia: Thanks!! That's pretty much what I did. However, the cover is not exactly secure. A slight nudge, and it pops out at the bottow-right corner and falls away! It's as though the boot (I mean, trunk) liner at that point is too far recessed or something.

Ah well. It's not so bad that it will come off during normal driving, I think. It's something I can live with, anyway.

Thanks again for taking the time to help!

hukent: Wow! Another member from Cardiff. There are a few (not many) here from the UK, but you're the first fellow Lude owner I've seen from Cardiff.

Where in the city do you live? What does your car look like? I've seen a couple around here, but, again, not many. There's one I see semi-regularly that's red with black, red-rimmed wheels.

PM me if you like. (I just wasn't sure if you'd discovered PMs yet.)
