Wazup ya'll. As most of you know, I've been looking around for a 4th gen. since "THE WRECK", and I found one today. It's a bone stock '94 Si 5spd. with 109k miles. New paint, new brakes, tires. It's been driven by a 25 yr. old woman for all of it's life, and most of the miles have been on the highway. She says it's in great condition. It's never been wrecked, no rust, etc. I'm convinced. I'm going tomorrow to look at it. What do you guys think?

Ooops, my bad, forgot to say how much. She wants 5800 for it, but I bet I could talk her down to 5500. Not bad, eh?
Also, could any of you guys provide any links to websites that sell aftermarket "go-fast" parts for the h23? I know noone makes cams for them, which really pisses me off, but I'm still interested in other things. Thanks ya'll.

Ya, try to knock off a few hundred. I got my 93 SI for $6200 and it had a new engine in it with only 10k, new clutch, and new tires. Good luck, sounds like a deal!
Thanks ya'll. I can't wait to get in this car and drive it. My mother has a '92 Si, but it's an auto, and it's pretty quick, but I'm sure the 5speeds are much quicker, no?

Yeah they are. I'd say about .5 in the 1/4 mile.

The reason why I'm converting my Lude to 5 speed next month
Damn, I can't wait to get this car. I raced my dad in my moms '92 Si auto in my 3rd gen. when I had my I/H/E. I had him beat by about a 1/4 car up to about 70, then he flew by my ass like it was nothing! I can't WAIT!!!

great choice...i got my 92 si auto for 2500 with system, altezzas (YES), intake, and exhaust...only need a drivers door which cost me 200 ....motor was in great shape for a 150,000 mile car...no regrets at all except it was an auto...you will love yours

Your MOM has a Prelude?! That is BADASS.
That's also a really good deal for that car. I hope everything works out for you! Pics, please.
sound like a decent deal. there are a few 94-95 si's and se's in my area going for around the same price or a bit under with the same mileage.
only question i have which is a bit fishy is. if the car is in such great condition with no rust, no accidents. why has a 94 prelude been resprayed enitrely? maybe if it's red. and check the condition of the paint very carefully. if it starts pealing in a year the car isn't worth nearly as much as 5500.
and you can never go wrong with Ebay! I also like summit and
sometimes ads in Sport compact and such. But more the above.
I wouldn't order from them. People say they take a long time to ship out. www.coximports.com www.groupbuycenter.com
check out all the sites sponsors and the classified area as well for some good deals.
Reserve judgment for when you actually see and drive the car, an ad is just that. I'd run the VIN and have it inspected by a mechanic and body shop (especially since it's been repainted.) You don't want a cheap paint job, it will start to look like hell in no time. That's a lot of miles so just make sure the oil has been changed etc. Don't get caught up in the moment and buy on impulse! Try to find a 93 VTEC
