its a lude not a hummer! poor mpg

ok so i have been getting poor poor gas mileage and i wanted to swap my 2nd o2 sensor to the front and the primary to the back will that work and i know it should throw a cel but when i bought the car the cat was clogged really bad as in no air would come out of the exhaust after you would gas it a little and the light didnt come up

oh and the primary is universal idk if it would make a difference and yes my cel light works

Both o2 sensors are exactly the same, the only difference is the secondary has longer wires. I don't know what you are hoping to accomplish by switching them though.

You can do that if you want, but you will have to splice/extend the wires to make the primary sensor reach the secondary location.

FYI, our O2 sensors only cost ~$35 each. If you have a CEL for a bad primary O2, I'd just replace it.
