ITR headlight conversion started.

Ive had some parts laying around for a couple months now, I am finaly going to be putting them on. I just started my headlight conversion. I am using dc2 ITR headligths, I will have a bm front bumper, combat sides molded, and battle rear molded, with over 100 led taillights. This is the first step in my process converting the front headlights. I am going to need to do some fender work, I want to use fiberglass fenders rather than oem metal ones. Anyone know where i can buy some fiberglass fenders for cheap, dosnt matter if they are z3 i can fill them in.
Thanx,
Rich

Wow, you're gonna do this yourself? Not letting a body shop do it? I don't think you understand the complexity of the entire work. Personally, i think the metal fenders would be easier to use then fiberglass. You can beat metal back and forth, cut and weld whatever u need and it'll still be pretty sturdy.

The front bumper will need to be reworked, as well as the hood....

But I bid you good luck on this project and I like to see how it goes!

I'm sure you've been doing your research leading up to this point, but have you gotten in touch with the few other owners who did this modification? I asked on who was selling his bumper and ITR lights, and he said along with needing to modify the bumper and 1/4 panels, he had to add to the end of the hood because of the line it drew with the dc2's installed.

Ancient, i wish i could find some pics at the moment, but he's doing it because the prelude looks awesome with ITR headlights. And, as a bonus, they are projector headlights.

PS. oh yeah, i second that, the link is dead.

I would assume it would look ok, but JDMs 1pc look good enough, and projectors can be put into a headlight housing easiar than modifiying ure entire front end imo

But hey to each his own

If he puts in JDM integra lights, he can probalby get rid of the vents next to the headlights which I think could look very nice.

yeah, i think you actually have to get rid of them, and I think it looks pretty good, it has a nice, clean line across the front without the vents.

Those GT-R headlights look awesome too, but still, must've been quite a bit of work to make those fit.
