Invader hood on MY ride? What do you think?

I got a damn good offer on a Vis grade AA c/f Invader hood, and I was wondering what you all think about how it would look on my car. I have the spoon replica lip, but no crazy body kit to match the hood, really...

What are your thoughts? Those of you who've seen my car know that the hood on it now looks like total crap, and it's the lowest quality c/f hood ever made. It's time for a new hood, and although I can't really afford it, I need to do something w/ the new hood. Vis is backlogged on OEM 4th gen c/f hoods, so I'm screwed there, and don't really trust the quality of other companies. Your thoughts?

I like the way Ryu's hood looks on his car, but not sure about my car, w/ the blue green azure.

Dont get the invader... IMO an OEM cf hood looks much much better.

Go with a fiberimages... maybe you can even pick it up since they are SoCal (palmdale).

I personally think that the invader hood complements the lines of the stock prelude, it should look good on yours. And unlike the OEM CF hood the invader hood helps reduce under hood temps significantly.

I just put an Vis Invader hood on my car with blue green metallic paint. I wasn't sure how it would look either because my body kit doesn't go on for a couple of weeks, but I like it with the stock body and colour especially with Jdm headlights. I thought it might look too agressive but had a lot of compliments from people who's opinion I trust.

i got the invader hood straight from the VIS factory out in so cal and it fits fine, not crooked and even w/the adj. latch. i plan to run a WW kit and so far i think it looks fine. the invader hood is different but not too aggresive looking. i paid about $425 so $400 shipped is a good deal. they did tell me not to keep the hood in the sun so i think it would yellow if you did. uv coat my @ss.

Stick with OEM Jason. An invader hood wouldn't flow with the rest of your car unless you had a really agressive kit. Just sand and reclear and later down the line get an even better carbon fiber hood when they come out.

I don't think it would go good with your car at all. The Invader is the one with the big hood slot right? OEM all the way.
