You will need to begin by taking the hub assembly apart (the spindlenut at the end of the axle), also disconnect the side specific tie rod. After that, there will be a fastener (lack of a better word) around the boot (maybe two) that you will need to disconnect, which isn't the easiest thing in the world. After that, you should be able to pull the axle out no prob. It's a little more difficult than what I made it sound, but it's not too bad.
