Interior- Speedometer light problem - Honda Prelude Forum

I have a 1992 Prelude type S
The speedometer lights wont come on but strangely the gas lights an everything on the right side of the dash does.
Any suggestions?

Do you know what type of bulbs I need and where I could get them??

Have you tried turning your headlights on?
That's what should trigger the speedometer lights (and some button lights) to turn on.

if you know how to solder.. you could replace them with leds...

if mine EL (1994) dont glow anymore i would be replacing the flourecent bulbus with leds...

its a common thing with honda's. Just replace the little light dimmer switch located at the left side of the steering wheel, the small one with the little picture of the light bulb.

The lights behind my speedometer and everything went out except some of the other interior lights and i went to the junkyard to get another wheel dimmer and it fixed my problem.

it would only affect the speedometer or something in particular? bcause I have put the ig sometimes without the dimmer and at least the gas/temp get affected too (dont try it... it looks f***ing ugly!)
