Any idea how I can pull off part of the grille cloth from the tweeter panels at the ends of the dash? I need to trim some plastic to make a little sound project happen... I wanna put the grille cloth back on, I just need to move it to get to the plastic underneath. Any ideas?
It's glued on across the entire cover. So most likely, it will get ruined in the attempt to remove it. Best bet would be to find a similar fabric and recover them with that instead.
Hmm... That's lame. If it were glued across just the edges, and not to the plastic face, I'd be in good shape, cause I could just trim the plastic behind the cloth. I want it to look 100% factory... and sound 100% custom haha.

yeah, just strip and recover them. if you go to a audio shop and they're half way nice they'll probably give you enough scrap to cover those with!
Depends on how good your weed is. Lmao. I kid, I kid. I've noticed that the more quality components I put in the sound system, the more I have to tone down my eq. On my last few setups, I had the eq set up pretty aggressively. Now, I find that I have any boosting settings (loud, bass boost, sound retriever, etc.) all shut off, and everything is tuned with the radio's 7 band equalizer. I like it. Much less distortion, less listening fatigue... now I just need to figure out how to permanently mount these suckas lol.
