Interior HVAC Lighting problems / questions

Uhh.. My HVAC Panel doesnt light up.. well the buttons do not. I'm not sure if anything else is supposed too but it would be nice to see what the heck I'm trying to press at night?

When I hit a botton to select which direction i want the air to go in, it shows a little amber light.. but is there a backlight picture of air flow supposed to be lighting up too?? I would assume so since it's on every other car I ever saw..

Anybody ever have this problem.. as well how did you remedy it... please help me it's annoying to scramble for buttons in the dark!
