Interior dyes

http://prowax.com/dyes.html

I am going to dye my floor black from grey. Would this product fade and take away from the plushness of the fabric? What about these products here? Is this what professional upolsterers(sp) use to dye?
If not, what do they use?

if you use it, you can brush out the carpeting after it's dry and then vaccum it to get the fabric nice & soft.
